Yolandi is deeply committed to supporting parents and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, with a particular focus on perinatal mental health, neurodivergent parenting, and inclusive, person-centred care. Her approach is warm, empathic, and empowering, creating a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported to move forward with confidence and hope.

With a background in developmental psychology and parenting coaching, Yolandi works collaboratively with clients to tailor evidence-based strategies to their unique needs, values, and goals. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and positive psychology, with a strong emphasis on resilience, self-compassion, and practical skills that support meaningful growth and wellbeing. Yolandi’s practice is neurodiversity-affirming and culturally responsive, ensuring that each client’s experiences and identities are respected and valued.

Yolandi offers specialised fertility counselling, including donor implications sessions, and supports individuals navigating the emotional complexities of infertility. Whether supporting parents or individuals seeking broader therapeutic support, Yolandi is dedicated to helping clients build on their strengths and navigate life’s transitions with clarity, hope, and a sense of agency.

Yolandi is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA) and has specific training and clinical experience in perinatal psychology, supporting individuals and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early parenting period.
