Ellie creates a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where people feel heard, supported, and respected. She works across the lifespan with children, adolescents, and adults, and has a particular interest in supporting individuals and families through times of change, loss, and transition. Ellie’s areas of interest include:

  • Grief and loss, including perinatal loss and pregnancy termination support

  • Perinatal mental health, including men’s perinatal wellbeing and women’s health

  • Trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity and obsessive–compulsive disorder.

  • Early attachment and parent-child relationship development

  • Supporting people through adjustment and transitions

Ellie provides clinical assessments and counselling for donor conception, surrogacy, and cosmetic or bariatric procedures. She supports individuals and families navigating fertility treatment, assisted reproduction, and donor conception pathways.

Ellie has completed Perinatal and Infant Mental Health training with the Centre for Perinatal Psychology and draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), DBT-informed approaches, and mindfulness-based strategies. Her work is grounded in a warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative approach.

Ellie is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA) and has specific training and clinical experience in perinatal psychology, supporting individuals and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early parenting period.
